Vertical stage is xafs_liny (alias for XF:06BMA-BI{XAFS-Ax:LinY}Mtr). Limits are [-1:485].

Horizontal stage is xafs_linx (alias for XF:06BMA-BI{XAFS-Ax:LinX}Mtr).  Limits are [140:-150]

Ion Chambers and electrometer

Voltage on ion chambers is 800 V. The 500 to 600 range seems to be in the tail end of the ohmic response.  700 V to 900 V seems pretty constant with constant flux.

Set a tenth of second: caput XF:06BM-BI{EM:1}EM180:AveragingTime 0.1

With the sampling time set at 4 miliseconds, a 0.1 second averaging time accumulates and averages 25 measurements.  Similarly, a 0.5 second averaging time accumulates 125 measurements.

Reference foils

Reference foils are mounted on stage xafs_linxs (alias for XF:06BMA-BI{XAFS-Ax:LinXS}Mtr) , thus can be programmed into a measurement macro.  The top-most foil is at position xafs_linxs = -90, the bottom-most foil is at +90.
